Check your schedule on the Student Portal to ensure that you attend the correct classes!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, some teaching assignments have changed, as well as some classes.

If is your responsibility to make sure that you are attending the classes that you are registered in.

If you have any problems, come to Student Services or e-mail registration@columbiacollege.ca for help.

The last day to make a change to your schedule, add or drop a class, without it appearing on your transcript is Friday, January 12.

Double Probation Information

Double ProbationIf your semester GPA is below 1.7 for two consecutive semesters, you are on Double Probation and you are blocked from registration.

If you wish to register for courses in the 2018 Winter Semester you must appeal to the Appeal Committee by completing this form: https://goo.gl/forms/xaWsNYdoLETDkRG42.

The deadline to appeal is Monday, December 18 at 2pm.

The Appeal Committee will review your application and decide whether to allow you to register.

If you indicate that you have documentation to support your appeal, please send it to registration@columbiacollege.ca. If you do not send the documentation, we will consider your appeal as incomplete, and may not review it.

After the Appeal Committee has met, you will be contacted through your student e-mail account.

MSP Online Application Instructions

MSPTo submit your MSP application online, go to https://my.gov.bc.ca/msp/application/prepare and follow the steps to apply.

You will need to upload an electronic copy of your study permit.  The study permit image must:

  • Be valid for six months or longer
  • Include the entire page, corner to corner
  • Ensure all text is legible and photo is in focus

You can download a copy of your study permit from your Student Portal by following these steps:

  • Log in to the Student Portal (columbiacollege.bc.ca)
  • Click on “Document Tracking”
  • Locate your Study Permit and click on “IMG”
  • Save a copy of the image
  • If there is no Study Permit entry or no image to click, please come to Student Services.

Once you receive your MSP coverage, bring it to Student Services so that we no longer continue to enroll you in private insurance coverage with guard.me.
